About Dr Wendy

Wendy has practiced as a psychologist for a number of years, both in private practice and at several large metropolitan hospitals. She has completed extensive studies and training, and holds both Doctoral and Masters degrees in Clinical Psychology. Her psychology practice encompasses working with children and adults suffering from many psychological problems. Whilst she practices in all fields of psychology, she also has a special interest in those suffering from anxiety and mood disorders (e.g., depression), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), chronic pain syndromes, disorders commonly seen in the elderly (depression, dementia, & memory problems), and autistic spectrum disorders (e.g., Autism & Asperger’s Syndrome).

A psychologist can help mentally healthy people find better ways to function as well as treat people who suffer from mental illnesses.
